Abstract:

Provided are a data transmission method and a host machine, used for enabling the virtual terminal to stay connected to a mobile network when the host machine cannot be directly connected to the Internet, thereby expanding a usage range of the virtual terminal. The host machine acquires a first network address of a physical terminal, wherein the physical terminal starts establishing or has established a connection with a mobile network; and the host machine sets a second network address of a virtual terminal to be the first network address, so that the virtual terminal sends, via the first network address, data to the mobile network and/or receives data sent by the mobile network, wherein the virtual terminal runs on the host machine.
