Abstract:
Disclosed are a data transmission method and a network device. The method comprises: during an uplink data receiving period of a first cell, a network device receiving, on a first frequency domain resource, uplink data sent by a first user equipment of the first cell, and sending, on the first frequency domain resource, downlink data to a second user equipment when receiving, on the first frequency domain resource, the uplink data sent by the first user equipment of the first cell, wherein the first cell supports a frequency division duplexing (FDD) mode, the first user equipment is a user equipment supporting an FDD mode, and the second user equipment is a user equipment supporting a time division duplexing (TDD) mode, or a user equipment supporting the TDD mode, the FDD mode and carrier aggregation (CA), or a user equipment supporting the FDD mode and carrier aggregation (CA). The embodiments of the present invention are beneficial to improving the spectrum resource utilisation rate of existing FDD mode communication systems.
