Abstract:
The present application discloses a data transmission method and a storage device, which belong to the technical field of data processing. The method is applied to the storage device, and the storage device comprises a controller and a storage medium, the storage medium comprising a first medium particle. The method comprises: a first medium particle first receiving a first instruction sent by a controller, the first instruction being used to instruct the first medium particle to transmit first data; then the first medium particle performing preparation on the basis of the first instruction; and after preparation is complete, the first medium particle transmitting second data to the controller, the second data comprising an identifier of the first medium particle and the first data. Since the first medium particle directly transmits data after completing preparation, the controller thus does not need to perform a polling check, and the controller can identify that the first data is transmitted by the first medium particle according to the identifier of the first medium particle comprised in the second data. Said method saves processing resources and reduces data transmission delay.
