Abstract:
The present application provides a data transmission method. The method comprises: a sending end device maps service data into a data frame, and sends the data frame to a receiving end device, wherein the data frame comprises an overhead area and a payload area, the overhead area is used for bearing overhead of the data frame, the payload area comprises a first indication field, and the first indication field is used for indicating that an object borne by each time slot is data or padding. According to the data transmission method provided in the present application, high-order containers of different rates and different structures can be divided into time slot bandwidths of the same rate, so that small-bandwidth service transmission can be supported more effectively, and the transmission delay can be reduced.
