Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure is a data transmission method applied to a user plane function (UPF) entity, the method comprising: receiving a positioning initiation request sent by a location management function (LMF) entity, the positioning initiation request carrying a user equipment (UE) identifier of a target UE; and, according to the positioning initiation request, a preset message bearing a new radio positioning protocol (NRPPa) message between the LMF entity and a target base station, the target base station being the base station corresponding to the target UE.
