Abstract:
Provided is a data transmission program, and method of transmitting data for appropriately notifying a user at an earlier stage of the state of progress of transmission of file data including data for a plurality of pages. For each data for a unit number of pages in the file data, a CPU transmits the data for the single page number in the file data to a display terminal (S35). The number of pages already transmitted which is the number of pages transmitted, is counted. The CPU acquires information on the number of pages in the file data from a spool data, which is an intermediate data generated by a graphic device interface (GDI)(S29). A rate of progress of the transmission of the file data is obtained using the information on the number of pages acquired and the number of pages already sent (S32). To provide notification to the user, the CPU outputs the rate of progress obtained (S33).
