A received packet is stored in a receiving buffer (102). A reproduction judging section (103) judges whether or not the stored packet can be reproduced at a reproduction time in time. If it is judged that it can be reproduced, the reproduction order and storage address of the stored packet judged that it can be reproduced are stored in a reproduction pointer (104). According to the reproduction pointer (104), the stored packet is read out and reproduced. The reproduction order and storage address of the stored packet are stored in a storage pointer (106). A medium converting section (107) reads the stored packet according to the storage pointer (106), and converts the form of the stored packet to a form storable in a storage memory (108).
