Abstract:
An active/standby database switching method and apparatus. The method comprises: performing an operation of connecting a local database service (S10); receiving a current position, sent by a peer end database, of the peer end database (S20); if the number of times the operation of connecting a database service fails exceeds a pre-set number of times, determining that a local database is abnormal, and performing an alarm operation or performing an active/backup switching operation between the local database and the peer end database; alternatively, if the number of times receiving the current position, sent by the peer end database, of the peer end database fails exceeds a pre-set number of times, performing an alarm operation or performing an active/backup switching operation between the local database and the peer end database (S30). The problems of poor data accuracy, complicated operations and low stability when switching active/standby databases are solved. The present invention realizes the real-time monitoring and control of the situation of an active/standby database synchronization gap, the operation is simplified, and data consistency is ensured, while erroneous switching is avoided.
