Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem that circuit elements are increased by as many as those of a booster circuit added to a DC-DC converter, the problem posing an obstacle to further reducing size and cost. Therefore, according to the present invention, during forward power transmission for transmitting power from a primary power supply V1 to a secondary power supply V2, a control circuit 40 controls each of the switching elements of a bridge circuit to which the primary power supply V1, a DC power supply, is applied to apply an AC voltage to the primary winding N1 of a transformer 4. In this case, due to a booster circuit comprising a first inductor L1, a first capacitor C1, and a first arm, the voltage applied to the first capacitor C1 becomes higher than the voltage of the primary power supply V1. An induced voltage generated in the secondary windings N21, N22 of the transformer 4 is rectified by a rectifier circuit to supply power to the secondary power supply V2. In this way, the switching elements of the DC-DC converter are shared with the booster circuit, thereby enabling to prevent the size of a circuit and cost from increasing.
