Title:
DC-DC CONVERTER AND POWER SUPPLY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/005894
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In this DC-DC converter, a plurality of control cycles are successively repeated, each control cycle comprising a first on period in which one switching element is turned on and another switching element is turned off, and a second on period which follows the first on period and in which the one switching element is turned off and the other switching element is turned on. A control unit determines the length of the first on period and the length of the second on period on the basis of a high voltage-side voltage and a low voltage-side voltage. The control unit turns on the one switching element for an initial on period, which is shorter than the length determined for the first on period, during the first on period of a first control cycle among the plurality of control cycles, and turns off the one switching element and the other switching element during the period of the first on period of the first control cycle other than the initial on period. During the first on period of each of the one or more control cycles other than the first control cycle, among the plurality of control cycles, the control unit turns on the one switching element and turns off the other switching element for the length determined for the first on period. The control unit turns off the one switching element and turns on the other switching element for the length determined for the second on period of each of the plurality of control cycles.
