Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a voltage input section that receives a DC voltage; a voltage output section, to which a load is connected; a transformer (T1) having at least a primary winding wire (N1) and a secondary winding wire (N2); a main switch element (Q1) that is provided between the voltage input section, and the primary winding wire (N1) of the transformer (T1); a rectifying circuit (20) that is provided between the voltage output section, and the secondary winding wire (N2) of the transformer (T1); and a reset voltage suppressing circuit, which detects the level of a reset voltage that is generated when resetting exciting energy accumulated in the transformer (T1), and which suppresses a voltage to be applied to the main switch element (Q1) in the cases where the level of the reset voltage exceeds, for instance, a predetermined threshold value.
