Abstract:
This DC-DC converter has a configuration in which a first full-bridge circuit and a second full-bridge circuit are connected to each other through a transformer. A control circuit performs a soft switching control on each switching element. The inductor current flowing through the transformer and the equivalent inductor of the transformer at the switching timing between the turn-on and turn-off of the switching elements is greater than or equal to a threshold current. When the output voltages V1, V2 of the respective first and second full-bridge circuits differ from each other, the control circuit makes the inductor current at the start timings t4, t8 of a polarity inversion period during which V1 and V2 are inverted in polarity and the inductor current at the end timings t5, t9 thereof closer to each other. This prevents loss caused by flowing of a large current from increasing and enables a ZVS control.
