Abstract:
This DC power supply device (50) comprises: a rectifier circuit (3) which includes a plurality of MOSFETs each having a parasitic diode therein, the plurality of MOSFETs being bridge-connected, and which is connected to an AC power supply (1) via a reactor (2); a capacitor (4) connected between output terminals of the rectifier circuit (3); a power supply voltage zero cross detection circuit (7) which detects the polarity of a power supply voltage which is an output voltage of the AC power supply (1); and a direct current detection circuit (9) which detects a first current flowing through the rectifier circuit (3). The control unit (11) has a first operation mode in which synchronous rectification is performed to turn on the MOSFET at a timing when a current flows in the same direction as the parasitic diode, and a second operation mode in which the MOSFET is PWM-controlled to boost the voltage across the capacitor (4), activates the first operation mode during low power consumption, and activates the second operation mode during high power consumption.
