Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a DC power supply device capable of definitively protecting a circuit component from excessive inrush current which can be produced when restoring after a momentary power failure. A DC power supply device (50) is equipped with: a reactor (2); a converter (3) connected to an AC power supply (1) via the reactor (2); a smoothing capacitor (4) connected between the output terminals of the converter (3); an inrush current prevention circuit (13) positioned on the charging path from the AC power supply (1) to the smoothing capacitor (4); a current detection unit (8) for detecting the DC current, which expresses the state of operation on the output side of the converter (3); a current detection unit (6) for detecting the power supply current, which expresses the state of operation on the input side of the converter (3); and a control unit (10) which controls the operation of the converter (3) and to which the DC current and the power supply current are inputted. The detected value of the saturated current from the DC current and/or the power supply current when the power supply voltage is restored from a reduced power supply voltage state is inputted to the control unit (10).
