Abstract:
A DC power supply device (101) comprises: a rectifier circuit (2); a reactor (3) that is connected to the rectifier circuit; a first capacitor (6a) and a second capacitor (6b) that are connected in series between output terminals (6d, 6e); a first switching element (4a) that, when in an off state, causes the first capacitor to be charged, and that, when in an on state, causes the first capacitor not to be charged; a second switching element (4b) that, when in an off state, causes the second capacitor to be charged, and that, when in an on state, causes the second capacitor not to be charged; and a control unit (10) that controls the switching operation of each of the first and second switching elements (4a, 4b). The control unit (10) has a full-wave rectification mode that is an operation mode in which one of the first and second switching elements (4a, 4b) is kept in the off state and the other of the first and second switching elements (4a, 4b) is subjected to PWM control.
