Abstract:
Provided is a DC power transmission system that has high reliability and that makes it possible to inexpensively achieve a high-speed restart of power flow control operation or the continuation of power flow control operation on a healthy end when a system accident occurs. The DC power transmission system comprises: power converters C1, C2, C3, … having incorporated therein current detectors Crp-Ctn connected to the individual terminals of a DC power transmission network; AC current breakers 13, 23, 33, … connected to the AC side of the power converters C1, C2, C3, …; DC current breakers 11, 21, 31, … connected to the nodes np of the DC power transmission network; current detectors 12, 22, 32, …; and DC power transmission lines S1, S2, S3, … for connecting the power converters C1, C2, C3, … with the nodes np.
