Title:
DEBRIS REMOVAL SPACECRAFT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/023971
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The core part of this invention is in introducing the third body (bodies) launched from the servicing spacecraft. The third body, which can be an unsophisticated and disposable device, should be equipped with the double capabilities of deceleration and capturing at the same time. The third body is launched from a distance farer than the size of the target debris object. This is not a mere combination of two capabilities, and can hardly be inspired ordinarily. Existing straightforward combination of two capabilities never solves the technical problems this invention overcomes, and this invention realizes the contactless and multiple space debris removal by micro to nano satellites, which has not been devised so far.
