Title:
DECIMAL BACKOFF-BASED CHANNEL ACCESS METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/082133
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided by the present invention is a decimal backoff-based channel access method: a finer backoff mode is achieved by means of accelerating the backoff speed of a node having a large contribution to an area throughput, and the relative priority level of a user in channel competition is further refined and resolved, so that better collision backoff is achieved and a more effective channel resource utilization rate is achieved. The method is simple to implement, is compatible with IEEE 802.11 standard protocol, and may be simultaneously applied to single-channel and multi-channel environments. In addition, the present invention may be implemented in firmware of a network card and also may implemented in a drive program. In the present invention, a sender may pre-estimate the interference condition of a receiver so as to enable backoff to be more accurate, thereby greatly improving area throughput.
