Abstract:
A decoding device 4 comprises: a reception unit 41 for acquiring a key line that constitutes part of one frame of image data generated by an imaging device 3, and a non-key line that constitutes part of the one frame of image data generated by the imaging device 3 and that has been at least partially encoded; a memory unit 42 for storing characteristics information about pixel value correlation characteristics in a frame; and a decoding unit 431 that, on the basis of a first log likelihood ratio obtained from the non-key line that has been at least partially encoded and a second log likelihood ratio obtained from the key line and the characteristics information, performs repetitive decoding by belief propagation to estimate the pre-encoding non-key line.
