Abstract:
A decoding method and device for polar codes. Said method comprises: a receiving device receiving a logarithmic likelihood ratio (LLR) sequence corresponding to a sequence to be decoded (S202); the receiving device obtaining, according to the LLR sequence, a partial sum Psum of a preset node in each decoding layer, the number of the decoding layers being log 2N, said N being the number of bits in the to-be-decoded sequence, and said N being an integer (S203); and the receiving device obtaining a decoded sequence according to the Psum of the preset node in each said decoding layer and a decoding matrix corresponding to each said decoding layer (S204). Said method saves decoding storage space.
