Abstract:
A decoding method and device for improving the degree of parallelism in decoding bit decisions and reducing decoding delays. The method comprises: making a hard decision about each LLR in an input LLR vector having a length of M to obtain an original vector, where M ≤ N and N is a length of information to be decoded; determining, on the basis of the original vector, Y vectors to be diagnosed, wherein the vectors to be diagnosed are obtained by performing a negation operation on at least 0 of X elements of the original vector, positions of the X elements in the original vector are consistent with positions of first X LLRs sorted in ascending order of absolute value in the LLR vector, and Y ≤ 2 X ; for each of the Y vectors to be diagnosed, determining at least one candidate vector according to a symptom diagnosis table; and selecting L candidate vectors from the at least Y candidate vectors obtained from the Y vectors to be diagnosed, and determining a decoding result of the LLR vector according to the L candidate vectors.
