Abstract:
Provided is a decorating device for vehicle interior components which can accurately impart gradation to a design on the surface of a resin molded article. The decorating device is equipped with a laser irradiation device and a control device. The control device estimates a virtual decoration surface (5a) which is deformed so as to have a different curvature than the surface shape of an actual decoration surface (5), and prepares drawing data on the virtual decoration surface (5a). The control device prepares laser irradiation data on the basis of the drawing data and controls the laser irradiation device by means of the laser irradiation data. By emitting a laser beam (L1) so as to be focused on the virtual decoration surface (5a), the laser irradiation device performs laser machining of the actual decoration surface (5) with the focal point of the laser beam (L1) offset from the decoration surface (5) and thus forms a gradation.
