In a decoration panel made by transcribing printed patterns including characters and designs formed by printing to a surface of a plastic sheet, printing patterns (12') with an ink uneven portion are formed by printing on a surface of a printing base member (15). The printing base member with the printing patterns is set in a metallic casting mold, a plastic panel main body (21) is molded, the printing base member together with printing patterns are then removed from the panel main body, and the panel main body (21) having a decoration element (23) with an uneven portion (22') made by transcribing of the ink uneven portion (12') on its surface is obtained. In order to make light collide with, and scattered by, the uneven portion made on the surface of the panel main body and to make the scattered light project the decoration element, wherein the light is guided to the front or rear surface of the panel main body, the decoration panel is made of a highly transparent acrylic resin and a light guiding unit (24) is provided at an edge surface of the panel main body to guide a light beam to the inside of the main body.
