Abstract:
This invention provides a decorative film provided on a surface of a resin base material located within a radar device path, and a method for decorative film formation. In the formation of the decorative film, film thickness control with a high accuracy is not required. Accordingly, the yield and efficiency in the formation of the decorative film are high. Further, the decorative film has a high radio wave transmittance and has a metal color tone and an excellent appearance design. The method for decorative film formation is a method for the formation of a decorative film (10) on a surface of a resin base material (101) located within a radar device path. In this method, an organic material comprising metallic nanoparticles (11) with organic molecules coordinated therearound dispersed in a solvent is produced. The organic material is coated on the surface of the resin base material (101). The solvent is volatilized to form the decorative film (10) comprising metallic nanoparticles (11) dispersed in the organic film (12).
