Abstract:
A decorative insert and a linearly driven device for a height-adjustable office desk using the decorative insert. The decorative insert comprises: an external insert ring (3-1) provided with an engaging portion (3-3), the engaging portion forming a snap-fit connection with a sliding plate (2); and the linearly driven device comprising an outer tube (1) and an inner tube (1') inserted into the outer tube. The sliding plate (2) is provided between the outer tube (1) and the inner tube (1'). The outer tube (1) is provided with the decorative insert (3) for covering a gap at the end of the outer tube. The decorative insert (3) forms, by means of the engaging portion (3-3), the snap-fit connection with the sliding plate (2). The decorative insert can be easily manufactured and machined using injection molding. During assembly, the engaging portion can be bent 90 degrees for easy use. The decorative insert forms a snap-fit connection with the sliding plate to fixedly connect the decorative insert to the outer tube without an adhesive. The invention offers an easy, convenient, and reliable installation and ensures an efficient and high-quality production process.
