Abstract:
Provided is a decorative panel production method which exhibits excellent design properties, and makes it possible to attach a decorative material to a panel substrate using a simple method. This decorative panel production method has: a step for aligning a lower box 21 and an upper box 11 so as to abut one another, with a decorative material 3 positioned in the boundary between the lower box 21 and the upper box 11, and forming a lower space 20A sealed by the lower box 21 and the decorative material 3, and also forming an upper space 10A sealed by the upper box 11 and the decorative material 3; a step for molding the decorative material 3 into a prescribed shape, with the lower space 20A depressurized more than is the upper space 10A; and a step for attaching the decorative material 3 to the surface of a panel substrate 2.
