Abstract:
A decorative sheet having a layer of a colored opaque resin in which a plurality of wooden chips are scattered so that the wooden chips are exposed to the exterior of a flat outer surface of this layer; a decorative sheet having a layer of a colored opaque resin in which a plurality of wooden chips are scattered, and a layer of a transparent resin or a layer of a glass fiber-containing transparent resin, which is formed on the layer of a colored opaque resin; and a decorative sheet in which a layer of a colored opaque resin containing a plurality of wooden chips scattered therein is formed on a substrate. In the decorative sheets thus formed, the side surfaces of the wooden chips scattered in each layer of a colored opaque resin, which side surfaces are exposed to the exterior of the outer surface of this layer, are arranged in parallel with the outer surface of the decorative sheet, and the grain of the wooden chips appears wholly and effectively on the outer surface of the decorative sheet. Thus it is possible to obtain a beautiful decorative sheet in which the grain of the wooden chips appears distinctly.
