Abstract:
The invention relates to a deep-rolling roller head (1) of a deep-rolling apparatus for deep-rolling radii or passes (4) at the bearing journals (5) of crankshafts using deep-rolling rollers (3), which are held at the deep-rolling roller head in the circumferential direction (6) on both sides of the contact point with the bearing journal (5) by roller cages (7) and are guided therein freely rotatably, wherein the roller cages (7) are held at the deep-rolling roller head (1) by roller holders (10). At least one roller cage (7) for the deep-rolling roller head (1) is designed as a cage roller (9), and for the deep-rolling roller (3) a retaining device is provided in the form of a retaining metal plate (14).
