Abstract:
A deep-sea water spray system contributing to the suppression of generation/growth
of a tropical cyclone (typhoon) by lowering the temperature of the surface of
sea water over a wide range through use of deep-sea water. The system comprises
a mechanism for pumping up deep-sea water from the sea, and a plurality of deep-sea
water spray ships each having a power means for providing the hull with a thrust,
and a spray means for spraying deep-sea water onto the surface of the sea. While
navigating the sea by means of the power means, each of the plurality of deep-sea
water spray ships sprays deep-sea water supplied from a pumping means onto the
surface of the sea by using the spray means in order to lower the temperature of
the surface of the sea.
