Abstract:
[Purpose] To provide a defecation aid that can be applied at low cost to western-style toilet seats having various specifications, and that is suitable as a countermeasure against hemorrhoids that is effective for amelioration or prevention of hemorrhoids through an action of effectively promoting defecation. [Configuration] A configuration having: a defecation aid body, which is attached to the center portion of the rearmost section of a toilet seat and aids defecation; an attachment piece for attaching the defecation aid body to the toilet seat; and an attachment user guide in which instructions on how to attach the defecation aid body to the toilet seat using the attachment piece are recorded, wherein the configuration is characterized in that: the defecation aid body is a tangible item having a front thick section which projects upwards in the range of 5-30 mm from the front edge of the seat surface at the center portion of the rearmost section of the toilet seat and having a front projecting part projecting forward in the range of 5-30 mm from the front edge of the seat surface; the attachment piece is an attachment tool for attaching the defecation aid body to the toilet seat; and the attachment user guide a recording medium in which the attachment of the defecation aid to the toilet seat using the attachment piece is recorded.
