Abstract:
Disclosed is a defecation detection device having a defecation and urination receiving member which faces the body of a person and receives defecation and urination; a urine aspiration device capable of aspiration of urine excreted to the defecation and urination receiving member; a temperature sensor which is disposed at a defecation position, in the defecation and urination receiving member, which receives defecation; and a controller which detects the presence or absence of the defecation on the basis of signals output by the temperature sensor, excluding those signals within a predetermined time after the urine aspiration device has operated.
