Abstract:
A defect closing device that is small in area and at detainment, realizes a position fixing fashion so as to be able to securely hold given position, and that is simple in constitution. There is provided defect closing device (D) capable of closing pathway-like defect (O) in a living body, characterized in that the device includes first member capable of free expansion and contraction (1) disposed so as to close one-end opening (Or) of the defect (O) and second member capable of free expansion and contraction (2) having protrudent part (7) extending from junction part (5) linked to the first member (1) and protruding from opening (Ol) at the opposite end along the axial direction of the defect (O) so that by elastic contact of the protrudent part (7) of the second member (2) with an opening edge inside surface of the opening (Ol), the first member (1) is brought into elastic contact with the opening (Or).
