Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for the inspection of defects in an LCD panel having a sheet polariser laminated thereon, said method including signal processing which detects the light transmitted from one surface when light is irradiated from the other surface when the LCD panel is not being driven. The method includes inspection using the irradiation of visible light, and inspection using the irradiation of near-infrared, and can detect defects without defect leakage.
