Abstract:

Disclosed is a defense method for configuring weak password vulnerabilities of internal and external network cameras. The method comprises: providing a honeypot at a network end of a camera, and accessing a public network end of the camera to the rear of a router so as to configure an access control list for the router; in an internal environment, exposing ports 23 and 80 of the camera by means of the honeypot, and acquiring a scanned traffic packet, analyzing a source IP address of the scanned traffic packet and obtaining an intranet attack host by means of the honeypot when a camera vulnerability scan attack occurs; and in an external network environment, uniformly filtering, by means of the router, all traffic accessing the camera, and releasing the IP address allowed to be accessed, otherwise prohibiting same. In the method of the present invention, illegal requests of an external network are filtered by using a router ACL, and not all external network accesses need to be prohibited, thereby guaranteeing the functionality of a camera; and a Cowrie honeypot is used for internal network deployment, so that a low false alarm rate is achieved, and the intrusion method and flow of an attacker can be more clearly understood.
