Title:
DEFIBRILLATOR OPERATING METHOD FOR REDUCING TIME TAKEN FROM POWERING-ON UP TO ELECTRICAL SHOCK INDICATION, AND DEFIBRILLATOR USING OPERATING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/194444
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a defibrillator operating method for further increasing the resuscitation likelihood of a patient through early defibrillation by proceeding simultaneously with electrocardiographic analysis and high voltage charging from the powering-on time point of a defibrillator so as to reduce an initial electrical shock transfer time; and the defibrillator using the operating method. The present invention provides a defibrillator comprising an electrocardiogram detection unit, an operation processing unit, and an electrical shock unit, wherein the operation processing unit receives an electrocardiographic signal from the electrocardiogram detection unit when the power switch of a key input unit is turned on, and analyzes the received electrocardiographic signal and, simultaneously, transmits a charging indication signal to an energy charging unit of the electrical shock unit such that the energy charging unit charges energy of an electrical shock power source unit up to a preset reference value. In addition, the operation processing unit analyzes the electrocardiographic signal so as to primarily determine whether the electrocardiographic signal indicates ventricular fibrillation, and when it is determined that the electrocardiographic signal indicates ventricular fibrillation, the operation processing unit determines an electrical shock time point and guides an electrical shock through a speaker. It is secondarily determined whether an electrocardiographic signal for an amount of time from the determination of the electrical shock time point to the electrical shock guidance through the speaker indicates ventricular fibrillation, and when it is secondarily determined that the electrocardiographic signal indicates ventricular fibrillation, an electrical shock signal is generated and transmitted to the electrical shock unit, and when it is secondarily determined that the electrocardiographic signal does not indicate ventricular fibrillation, the determination of the electrical shock time point is cancelled, it is determined whether the cancellation has consecutively occurred three times, and when the cancellation has consecutively occurred three times, a discharge indication signal is generated so as to be transmitted to an energy discharge unit.
