Abstract:
In a method of producing a corrugated tube, two half shells (2, 3), each running in a longitudinal direction, are formed from a flat sheet and are provided with corrugations (4, 5) which are oriented transversely to their longitudinal directions, wherein the two half shells (2, 3) are either arranged longitudinally next to one another in an individual sheet-metal part (1) or are separate parts. In the case of a design having two half shells arranged next to one another in a common sheet-metal part (1), the preformed sheet-metal part (1) is folded or bent in the region between the two half shells (2, 3) about an axis (19) lying parallel to the longitudinal directions of the half shells (2, 3), wherein free longitudinal edges of the half shells (2, 3) are brought into mutual contact and connected to one another. In the case of a design of the half shells (2, 3) in the form of separate parts, the two half shells (2, 3) are placed against one another with their longitudinal edges (16,17) and the longitudinal edges (16, 17) are connected to one another, at least one of the two longitudinal edges (16, 17), coming into mutual contact, of the partial shells (2, 3) is provided with a number of recesses (18) spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the partial shells (2, 3), and, by connecting sections of this longitudinal edge (16, 17) which lie between the recesses (18), a number of openings (22) through the lateral surface of the corrugated tube, which are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the corrugated tube, are formed with the other longitudinal edge (16, 17) in the connecting region of the two longitudinal edges (16, 17).
