Abstract:
Disclosed is a deformed reinforcing bar having sections of different heights. The deformed reinforcing bar having sections of different heights comprises: a bar material; a plurality of low sections which are spaced at predetermined intervals in the length direction of the bar material and project laterally from the surface of the bar material; and a plurality of high sections which are positioned in the respective centres between neighbouring low sections and project laterally from the surface of the bar material so as to have a greater height than the low sections. The deformed reinforcing bar can improve the adhesive strength with concrete while at the same time having the effects of uniform stress distribution and crack reduction because of the formation of the sections of different heights on the surface of the bar material.
