Abstract:

A dehumidification device capable of suppressing a decrease in dehumidification performance caused by condensation in a structure for making moisture be charged by discharge of a discharge electrode and collecting the moisture, and a dryer comprising the dehumidification device. The dehumidification device (60) comprises: an accommodating cylinder (5) for accommodating an object to be washed; a circulation path (20) for allowing air to flow out of the accommodating cylinder (5); and a first electrode (31) and a second electrode (32) configuration in the circulation path (20). The first electrode (31) and the second electrode (32) are provided opposite to each other in a manner of being spaced apart by a gap (V). The first electrode (31) collects, in the circulation path (20), moisture charged by the discharge of the second electrode (32). A housing (30) which serves as part of the circulation path (20) is provided with an opening (30E) for communicating the internal space of the circulation path (20) with external air.
