Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a dehumidifier that appropriately controls dehumidification in accordance with the conditions of the use environment. In the present invention, in order to achieve the foregoing, a dehumidifier comprises the following: a housing; a blower means for bringing room air into the housing and blowing the air to the outside; a dehumidifying means for dehumidifying the room air that has been taken into the housing; an air temperature detection means for measuring the temperature of the room air; a wind direction varying means for varying the wind direction of dry air when the dry air that was dehumidified by the dehumidifying means is blown to the outside; a surface temperature detection means for detecting the surface temperature at a site that is located in the direction in which the dry air blows; and a control means for controlling all of the foregoing means. The dehumidifier is configured so that the control means causes the wind direction variable means to divide regions where wind can be blown into a plurality of blocks, causes the surface temperature detection means to detect the surface temperature of each of the blocks, finds the differences between the temperature of the room air and that of the surfaces, and compares these differences in temperature to a prescribed first determined temperature, so as to determine whether an article to be dried is positioned in a relevant block.
