Abstract:

A delayed fracture prevention method for a steel structure formed of steel materials having a tensile strength of 600 N/mm² or higher and/or welded joints for the steel materials, wherein an ultrasonic shock treatment hammering by an ultrasonic vibrating terminal having a tip part diameter of 1 to 5 mm is applied onto the stress-concentrated part of the steel structure.
