A delayed interferometer is provided with a branch means that branches a differential phase modulated light signal into first branch light and second branch light, a light dispersion means that disperses either first branch light or second branch light in accordance with a wavelength, an optical path length change means that changes an optical path length of the dispersed light dispersed by the light dispersion means in accordance with a wavelength, and a multiplex interference means that multiplexes the first branched light and the second branched light and makes the first branched light interfere with the second branched light. A receiving device is provided with a delayed interferometer comprised of a light dispersion means that disperses a differential phase modulated signal and an optical path length change means that changes an optical path length of the light dispersed by the light dispersion means; and a receiving element that receives a light signal multiplexed and interfered by a multiplex interference means.
