Abstract:
A demultiplexing method and apparatus for code division multiplexing for solving the problem in the prior art that there are relatively high requirements for hardware in an ONU in a demultiplexing implementation mode in an electric domain. The apparatus comprises: a multiplier, a phase modulator and a dispersion medium. The multiplier is used to receive optical pulse signals sent by an OLT and to multiply reference codes of users corresponding to an ONU by the optical pulse signals, wherein the optical signals are signals obtained by the OLT performing, for signals of a plurality of users comprising the users corresponding to the ONU, encoding and coupling by respectively using the reference code corresponding to each of the users, and the reference codes corresponding to different users are orthogonal to each other. The phase modulator is used to perform phase modulation on the optical pulse signals multiplied by the reference code. The dispersion medium is used to perform pulse compression on the optical signals obtained after phase modulation so as to filter an optical signal encoded using the reference code of the user corresponding to the ONU from the optical signals sent from the OLT.
