Abstract:
This method for purifying combustion exhaust gas comprises: placing a denitration catalyst, which is composed of a molded body containing a catalyst component and has microcracks on the surface of the molded body, in a gas flow so that the percentage of microcracks, which form an angle between the direction thereof and the major gas flowing direction within ±30 degrees, with respect to the total number of microcracks is 80-100%; and removing a nitrogen oxide from combustion exhaust gas.
