Abstract:
The present invention discloses a dense multipath parameter estimation method using a multi-polarization broadband extension array response. The method comprises: first sending a plurality of groups of different sending signal sequences by means of a multi-polarization antenna array, processing a plurality of pieces of snapshot receiving data according to known sending signals, obtaining channel responses of all frequency points of a multi-polarization antenna component in a frequency band, and expanding an obtained multi-frequency-point channel response matrix under a plurality of snapshots into a large two-dimensional channel response matrix; then, obtaining a multipath propagation time delay parameter by using a reference point array element, and estimating a two-dimensional departure angle and a two-dimensional arrival angle by using a channel matrix subjected to frequency domain smooth dimension reduction; pairing the estimated departure angle with the estimated arrival angle, estimating a cross polarization ratio, an initial phase, and an amplitude parameter of a sub-path by using the estimated parameters, and finally achieving multi-dimensional parameter estimation. The present invention can achieve the estimation of multi-dimensional sub-path parameters in a dense multi-path environment, and can be used in the fields of radio wave propagation measurement, indoor positioning and the like.
