Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dental bur, and to a dental bur, which has a vertical shaft hole along the vertical center axis of the bur in the longitudinal direction in a certain area of a predetermined section of a bur coupling part fastened to a bur coupler of a handpiece, so as to reduce a cross sectional area to be smaller than that of the cylindrical shape of a conventional dental bur, thereby reducing the total weight of the dental bur, and thus increases the number of revolutions of the dental bur so that cutting performance can be improved and, furthermore, ensures the number of relatively high-speed revolutions so that excessive force does not need to be applied to the handpiece, thereby extending the lifespan of the handpiece.
