Abstract:
The dental cleaner comprises a grip, a brush element selectively mounted to the grip, and a nozzle element. The grip has a drive rod for transmitting rotary reciprocating force to the brush element and for supplying water from external water supplying means into a water passage for introducing the water into the nozzle element, drive means for imparting the reciprocating rotary force to the drive rod, and a change-over switch for driving the drive means only when the brash element has been mounted. When the brush element is mounted to the grip to reciprocatingly rotate the brush element, it can brash teeth, and when the nozzle element is mounted to the grip to inject water therefrom, it can clean the gums of the teeth and massage them.
