Abstract:
Provided is a wall part dental handpiece capable of improving the efficiency of cutting the root canal of a tooth by using a dental piece such as a reamer. A cam pin (111) and a cam hole (21) or a cam groove (211) are designed so that the size of the cam hole (21) or the cam groove (211) is larger than the size of the cam pin (111) in each of the axial direction and the circumferential direction of a vibration tube (20). Thus, a rotating member (110) is rotationally driven, and the vibrating force acts on the vibration tube (20) in the axial direction thereof via the cam pin (111), thereby causing the vibration tube (20) to vibrate or reciprocate in the axial direction with respect to the second cylindrical member (12) and to vibrate or reciprocate in the circumferential direction. Further, since a needle part (42) protruding from a through-hole (202) of the vibration tube (20) vibrates while bending, an operator can apply the vibrating needle part (42) to the root canal of the patient's tooth to perform root canal treatment or the like.
