Abstract:
A dental implant system according to the invention comprises: - an anchoring part (1) for anchoring in bone tissue, wherein the anchoring part is made of a ceramic material, the anchoring part having an external thread (11), which defines an axis, and a recess which is open towards a coronal end for engagement of a fixing post of an abutment; - and a screw-in tool (50). The recess has an inner structure with a screw-in geometry (13.2) for interaction with a corresponding outer structure of the screw-in tool, and the screw-in tool has an engagement part with the corresponding outer structure. Furthermore, the recess forms coronally to the screw-in geometry a supporting area that extends to the coronal end for supporting a support part of the abutment on the anchoring part; The screw-in tool can be secured in a screw-in position, in which the engagement part engages into the screw-in geometry, relative to the anchoring part with respect to axial relative movements. In the screw-in position, the screw-in tool (50) is guided in its orientation relative to the anchoring part by interaction of the screw-in geometry and the engagement part, and a torque on the screw-in tool (50) does not subject the supporting area to a load.
