Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dental implant that can effectively absorb shock that is applied to an artificial tooth by external transverse pressure or multi-directional bite forces, making an operation thereof easier, and allow for an extended lifespan thanks to significantly enhanced durability thereof. The present invention provides a dental implant comprising: a fixed body having an axial hole formed at the upper portion thereof and implanted into a jawbone; and an abutment including a lower fastening shaft part resiliently coupled to the fixed body through insertion into the axial hole thereof and an upper mounting part having a prosthesis mounted thereon, wherein the lower fastening shaft part of the abutment includes a shock absorption part having at least one horizontal through hole, a lower end of which is located at the lower fastening shaft part, a resilient fastening section is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shock absorption part, and a corresponding fastening section corresponding to the resilient fastening section of the abutment is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the axial hole of the fixed body to which the lower fastening shaft part is coupled. Therefore, the lower fastening shaft part can be resiliently coupled to the axial hole.
