Abstract:
Precision dental models for rehabilitation with implants (3) and method for the production of dental models, which aims to minimize errors arising through human intervention and to reduce not only the time employed but also the materials, and which basically comprises the steps of: obtaining information concerning the geometry of the patient's mouth, of the dental components (2) and of the implant or implants (3) present in the patient's mouth and over which the dental prostheses (5) are ultimately to be placed; and obtaining the dental model or production proper by means of a manual and/or automatic technique that reproduces both the geometry of the mouth and also that of the dental components (2) and of the implant or implants (3).
